My beautiful star sister Kristina Kopf painted this and gifted me with it on the 8/8/8 convergence. Everytime I look at it I think of her with gratitude. Thank you Kristina!
All signs from God, every ancient, sacred text, every message from Angels or guides, are designed to lead you through the maze of the ego mind, of the darkness and bring you Home. You do not have to physically go anywhere to go Home. You just wake up to it. It is a shift in perspective. A vision of going further, beyond the veil that separates you from your True Self. When you move past the questioning in your mind, it becomes still and true seeing occurs. The only answer to every question is God. The only solution to every problem is God. The only cure for any illness is God. “Seek the Kingdom first” says the Master Jeshua ben Joseph. When you seek God first, when you put God first in your life, in your mind, in your heart, your focus shifts away from that which hinders you, and points to the Truth. It is then healing occurs.
You can take any road you choose to come Home. All roads will lead you Home. You may linger awhile in forgetfulness, you may create obstacles so that you can play in your creation a while longer. You may seek other ways to undo the anguish within yourself. That is your choice. That is your right. That is your free will. Sooner or later in time you will realize that there is only one way out. You must surrender to God.
You are learning now how to improve your life by creating a more appealing illusion. You desire objects to look after, a partner to look after you, and eternal youth. There is no thing you can create in your world that is worth diddly. It will all only bring you pain in the end. The objects will rust and break, and lose their shimmer. The partner will die or leave you for another. Eternal youth is not the nature of this realm. That is a memory of Heaven.
Allow God to choose for you. Allow God to decide what you want, because in Truth you do not know. Your life is full of things you don’t want – that you put there. It is insanity to create more of that deliberately. When the Master spoke of becoming like a child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven He was referring to dependence. A child depends on its parent for everything. That is how we must become to be free of pain and anguish. There is no book to teach you this. There is no secret. It is plain and clear. May Thy Will and my will be one.
Let go of the mental games you create to figure out your life. To attempt to make sense of an illusion is insanity. Let go of what you think your life should look like. The picture in your mind is a composite of other illusions. Let go of your desire for the perfect partner. It does not exist. You will not be alone. God has not abandoned you. Take a step closer to Home.
When you see that nothing you have done up until now has created true happiness and peace for you, it becomes clear a new way must be un-covered. I offer you that way. Lift your eyes and heart to God. Seek God diligently. Put yourself in God’s hands and watch your life transform in miraculous ways. Release to God all of your desires as they arise and watch with new eyes what He delivers. Put your very life on God’s altar and surrender. Moment to moment. Breath to breath. The Kingdom Truly is at hand. It is within you this very instant. Choose it.

Another awesome article. The crucial point is to surrender to God. It clears the way for treasures untold.
Peace,
Joe
Absolutely.
Surrendering is sometimes confused with non-action, but true surrender is purposefuly acting on the guidance received in a calm, centered being-ness. Energy is not wasted, and the best out-come can be acheived. Even if you didn’t know it was possible!
Thank you, St. Joe!

Yes, this is true — but as long as we are in this dimension, we might as well be producing and living the “A Movie” vs. some horror show.
I gave up my vow of quasi-urban poverty and celibacy a while ago (in an informal ceremony at a Barnes & Noble on 84th & Broadway in NYC, with a fellow friend). After years of voluntary simplicity, I came to realize that there is no virtue in the cot and candle lifestyle – for me – and that God has clearly let me know that it is OKAY to live an abundant life.
Yes, the more I have, the more I have to give away…it’s a good feeling. There is a dangerous subtext, a sort of de-motivating agenda in the idea that reaching for our material goals is a waste of time. Is it? Can’t we be spiritual ascending beings while sleeping on 600 threadcount Egyptian cotton sheets?
I do like what you wrote, but feel a conflict with the suggestion to ignore the material world.
Hello Lisa, and thank you for a wonderful, thoughtful comment!
The point in this article all about allowing God’s plan for you (or, your pre-birth plan) unfold without imposing our ‘earthly will’ to make it be something other than what it is. I promise it will not be “a horror show” as you think.
I’m not in any way implying material wealth is bad, but that when our happiness or peace depends on any thing or circumstance outside of ourselves we will be disappointed. It’s about attachment. When we can trust that God/Universe/Higher Self ‘has our back’, knows what we want and what’s best for us, and then just allow it to come. When you know – without a doubt – you will be provided for, like “the birds of the air and the lilies of the field” you will receive everything you need and want effortlessly.
When we hold tight to an image of how things should be or look, who we should be with, or what we should have, we are limiting ourselves to our ‘mortal’ minds. What if your Highest Self has something much better for you in store and you delay it with a sidetrack of a different experience?
I know you understand this as you wrote on your recent blog about “the excitement in the ambiguity” to paraphrase. That is just it – allow yourself to be surprised in what comes your way. Allow yourself to move through the experience of life as an observer – with no attachment to outcome. I like to make my preferences known then let it go. If I get it or not makes no difference to my inner peace and knowing who and what I AM.
This was a hard lesson for me, especially after doing Law of Attraction ‘stuff’ vigilantly for months. I attracted the man of my dreams and fell in love – hard. But, my egoic mind didn’t fill out the order form properly and I left out some important factors: he had been so wounded by his last relationship that he was stuck there and was not capable or ready to love me back. It took time for me to trust God again as all the signs were there – loud and clear – but it was my own will which put me in that position. I learned to be careful what I wish for.
Then, there is a whole other factor of living in a world of polarities and its own law: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Contemplate this and it will make anyone think twice about desiring enormous wealth. There must be balance.
Love to you, Lisa, and God Bless!

Susan
